Yet it looks all happy now. But wait until those princesses decide they need some triceretops hocks for the ball – that will ruin the truce. LOOK OUT DINOSAURS! THEY’RE GOING TO EAT YOU!

Ruth Anne is in the red obviously…but is yellow an Ambivalent color?

Those are celebrity dinos…that’s why they’re turning away from these dinorattzi pics.

It looks like my 7yr old’s room. Her room is Peacable Kingdom- her relationship w/her 11yr old sister? Not so good.

I want to hear more about what you had to eat during your visit. Like my father used to say: “We always eat better when company comes.” ;)

The *other* bathtub probably had Ruth Anne’s paratrooper action figures, complete with lawyerly briefcases and parachutes.

You were fortunate indeed to be welcomed into that happy household, and to be with the wonderful Mr. and Mrs Adams and their colorful children.

    Is yellow really Amba’s color?

I can tell from experience that the tile work is less than 10 years old.

Mr. Haz: I was fortunate indeed. Blessed, literally.

As for food . . . we discovered David and I have similar tastes, preferring things like garlic-stuffed olives to things like Pop-Tarts. (I just made that last one up, I’m not sure I actually saw a Pop-Tart vanishing into Zeke.)

I love being around those kids. They’re so kind. Older people need kids the way a plant needs water.

I saw what you did there. I know your kind. :)

Huh? I’m not sure that’s funny, chicken. What are you talking about?

  11. chickelit said,

I thought you you were tying the words kids and kind (as in kinder) together. That’s all.

  12. amba12 said,

Ah. You’re pun-ishing me, lashing me with two tongues, no less!

  13. Ruth Anne said,

Chickelit: I know you’re kind. That’s how I took it.

The gift was for me to have the eternal girlfriend to watch the Globes with, to sit up late chit-chatting about everything from atoms to zoology, to let my kids do what they do best…be kids… while we both had target-lock on the computers. Dave was able to watch all the football he wanted, uninterrupted by me, because you were here!

This happens with several of my friends: we might stop, but we’re not through.

    Yep, it is definitely TBC!

    Ruth Anne & Annie:

I never meant anything unfunny or hurtful with my puns. Because I have a real life tendency to misspell, I try to get away with such things.

The meaning of what I said was:
“I saw what you did there” was riffing on my mistaken beliief tha Annie had punned English with German. The second part, “I know your kind” was as Ruth Anne suggested. It looks contrived and unfunny because I was trying to reuse the word “kind.”

I am sincerely sorry if I hurt either of you. You know that I would never do anything to harm or upset either of you like that. Still, like I told Trooper York recently, I need to lay off the espresso in the mornings sometimes and just ease off a bit. I’m working on it. Bruce

  16. amba12 said,

Oh, no harm — I just didn’t “get it,” so I couldn’t imagine what you were getting at.

Aside to chickelit: Your posts occasionally get quarantined by our spam-catcher because of a persistent unwelcome visitor here. If the need arises in the future, leaving out the spaces between RuthAnne’s names should work.

Alright, group hug. Now all move close together for the photo…..click!

Annie, did Ruth Anne take you up the ladder to go star gazing? You know, up on the roof with Roof?

I’m sorry, it’s still morning, and the pun-a-tron needs another shovel of coal in order to get up to full steam.
